Above is a picture of the Columbia River Gorge from Crown Point, Oregon showing scenic I-84 along the Columbia river.
The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) has been involved with the PGE initiative to install charging stations around Portland. They were using it as a pilot project to determine if they wanted to roll-out a charging infrastructure in the rest of the state.
The pilot went well and now it is going to expand. They are planning to install charging stations at rest stops on I-5 and I-84. You can see the ODOT presentation below.
